MixEffect and MixEffect Pro 2.1.1 are out on the App Store for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. Here’s what’s new, improved, and fixed:
New Features
- Added setting to disable the “Fade to Black” hardware button in Switcher Settings.
- Expanded Multiview settings for supported switchers, including Frame Guides, Borders, Border Color, and Labels.
- Introduced support for specifying an SRT Password when the streaming server URL contains “srt”.
- Add ability to lock individual SuperSource boxes from being manipulated in the SuperSource Visual Editor.
- Enabled Apple Pencil support in the SuperSource Visual Editor. Double-tap to toggle the editor and squeeze (Apple Pencil Pro) to lock or unlock individual boxes in the editor.
Improvements
- Correct video sources for Webcam Output are now displayed in the Auxiliary section for supported switchers.
- Introduced an option in Advanced Settings to enable frame rate aware animations.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue where sheets would disappear on initial appearance.
- Restored functionality of App Intents on devices running iOS 16 and iPadOS 16.
- Resolved a crashing issue with the HTTP server.
- USB View now updates correctly when resizing the MixEffect window.
